3 stars based on service & taste of food. We waited over an hour for our main course. The calamari was bland. The lasagna was what I call a 2 minuter. Lasagna noodles sprinkled with cheese in between & lots of sauce around it & voila - flat 2 minute lasagna. The pasta Frutti di mare was one of the best I have tasted. Ambiance is inviting & sophisticated. Overall a.nice evening.

This was our third time at Il Matto. Once again the service & food was excellent. The Burrata appetizer was fantastic. My pasta dish & my wife's fish were definitely on point. We'll be back on our next trip to beautiful Quebec City.

Fantastic, fresh Italian with a fun, high energy atmosphere. We shared fried calamari appetizer. My husband had veal scallopine, which he loved. I had amazing papparadelle with mushrooms & white truffle oil. The pasta was paper thin & perfectly done. Good variety in the menu. Nice options on wine list. Good value. Portions were very generous, so sadly we could not fit in dessert. Our server Mary Soleil was very efficient & friendly, even offering suggestions for the music festival in town at this moment. The manager was attentive & all staff seemed very on point. Very nice dinne

The restaurant had a wonderful ambience. The staff made you feel at home. The waiter was fantastic!! He was very familiar with the menu & was able to make great recommendations. The food was top notch. The Carbonara pasta dish reminded us of the one we enjoyed in Ravello on the Amalfi Coast in Italy. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for true authentic Italian cuisine.

I had dinner there with my husband. The cocktails were a good size & the service was good. We had the calamari to start, which were very good. They were crispy, tasty & the aioli was a delicious compliment. My husband had the agnelotti which were good. A little rich but seasoned well & tasty. I had the lasagna, which was only okay. While the meat sauce was good, the lasagna itself was made with thick pasta noodles, which were undercooked & luke warm. The price was on par with the other restaurants in the area. If you go, order anything but the lasagna & I'm sure you'll be satisfied.

Fun happening spot, even at 6pm! Our waiter was too busy for our table of only 2 people, we saw other wait staff take care of us. We started with the Caprese salad, then onto Spaghetti with meatballs & Spaghetti Vongole. Two glasses of the Barolo with our meal. Everything was delicious. Both pastas were amazingly hot when presented at the table. Highly recommend it, beautiful neighborhood as well. Easy to find & walk to from the hill.
