Great food...excellent service. It was the first place we ate at that acknowledged the note I left with our booking that we were celebrating our anniversary. They brought us a complimentary dessert & made a big enough deal out if it to make the dinner feel extra special. We would highly recommend. Great experience.

The staff was very attentive & accommodating. We spoke English & our server took time to explain the dishes on the menu that were in French. The food excellent. The servings were quite large.I would highly recommend.

Excellence service & le menu est superbe! La seule chose c'est que les odeurs de la cuisine remplissent le salon & se resent par après sur la linge.. Juste pour ça, 4 étoiles. Sinon, très recommandable!

Vraiment excellent. Nourriture goûteuse, cuisson parfaite, service impeccable, quoi demander de plus. Ce n'était pas notre première visite dans ce restaurant, nous y allons environ une fois par année en tant que touristes du vieux Québec. Cette fois-ci aura été comme chacune de nos présences, soit excellente. Si vous cherchez un restaurant italien avec de l'excellente nourriture, ma conjointe & moi vous recommandons Matto. Il y a quelques années, avant la pandémie, nous avons emmenés trois couples d'amis dans ce restaurant. Tous trois ont été unanimes, soit excellent. La salle à manger est un peu petite mais la nourriture & le service dans ce restaurant sont beaucoup mieux que d'autres restaurant italien plus gros que nous avons visités durant notre séjour d'une semaine dans le vieux Québec. Certainement un restaurant à considérer si vous aimez bien manger.

Fun happening spot, even at 6pm! Our waiter was too busy for our table of only 2 people, we saw other wait staff take care of us. We started with the Caprese salad, then onto Spaghetti with meatballs & Spaghetti Vongole. Two glasses of the Barolo with our meal. Everything was delicious. Both pastas were amazingly hot when presented at the table. Highly recommend it, beautiful neighborhood as well. Easy to find & walk to from the hill.
