Le filet mignon mérite sans hésitation une note de 6 étoiles, parfaitement exécuté. La joue de boeuf est absolument à recommander, tendre & savoureuse, tout comme les escalopes de veau, qui étaient tout simplement excellentes.
L'ambiance & le service sont remarquables. C'est notre deuxième année au Carnaval de Québec, avec un séjour à l'Hôtel 71, & nous sommes encore une fois entièrement satisfaits.
Une expérience que nous recommandons sans hésitation.

There were 5 of us so we decided to order a lot of different plates & do family style. To start we got the Carpaccio Di Manzo, Bruschetta Di Pomodoro, & Insalata Di Rucola E Prosciutto Di Parma.
Second round was their signature Pappardelle al Funghi, Agnellotti, Scaloppina Di Vitello (Limone), & the Joue De Boeuf Braisée. The pappardelle was amazing & had plenty of mushrooms mixed in. The beef cheek was fork tender & melted in your mouth, paired with a dark au jou that was so flavorful. The agnelotti was tossed in a basil cream sauce that made your palate dance. The lemon veal was one of my favorite dishes of the night, covered in a creamy lemon pepper sauce.
For dessert we had the Bombas which were two fried donuts drizzled in a hot nutella sauce. We also had the Tiramisu & Tartufo, an Italian chocolate ice cream.
From start to end, the food & service was phenomenal. Thank you Matto for an evening I won't soon forget!
Really great experience. We had dinner here as guests of the hotel. Enjoyed the drinks (my fiance always gets espresso martinis & he loved theirs). Arancini app was amazing - delicious marinara sauce! We both loved our pasta (veal parm & manicotti). We saw the margherita pizza & had to try it... it was incredible. Seemed very authentic (I've been to Italy) & this is my fave kind of pizza. It was to die for. We did make a reservation so there was no wait. Overall a lovely dinner!
Had a lovely time at this restaurant. The staff were extremely friendly, personable & down to earth. My linguine vongole was delicious. The liguini was a tad too el dente but nonetheless delicious. The argula & prosciutto salad was perfect. We also tried their spaghetti le keb & that was 👍. Oh! & the cauliflower soup really hit the spot!
We were hopeful for a great meal. The eggplant parm was cold in the middle & the ossobuco came in a tomatoe sauce which was not very good.
The calamari was great, but the main meal left us disappointed.
Excellent, service courtois & rapide, repas A-1 sur toute la ligne. &, mention spéciale au cook, vendredi 16 janvier, j'ai demandé à la serveuse s'il faisait la cuisson'black & blue', elle s'est informée & m'a dit' normalement non, mais il va tenter de trouver un moyen de vous faire ça', wow & c'était très réussi! Habituellement, dans les restos, quand c'est non, c'est non! Quelle initiative, ça c'est un cook qui va de l'avant! & tout le personnel est tellement courtois, A-1, vraiment une expérience très cool! Mon épouse a pris le spag carbonara, à base de jaunes d'oeufs, sublime! Ce resto sera dorénavant un incontournable quand on retournera en ville!
