Puis notre resa au restaurant arrive,
Le repas était bon, bien que très tiède/froid... Mais passe encore.
Par contre la serveuse qui s'est présenté comme Amélie ou Émilie, ça ne pardonne pas, aucun sourire, aucune chaleur, & cette impression de la faire, li-tté-ra-le-ment chier.
Il faut changer de métier quand on transmet ce genre d'émotions, c'est qu'on est plus fait pour ça....
Je pense que je reviendrai au spa mais pas au restaurant.
Une journée au Strom Spa, qui avait pourtant merveilleusement bien commencé. Malheureusement, notre expérience au restaurant Nord a complètement gâché cette belle journée.
Nous avions une réservation à 13 h 45 avec l'intention de retourner profiter du spa pendant environ une heure avant un rendez-vous important en début de soirée. Dès notre arrivée au restaurant, le service s'est avéré lent & peu chaleureux.
Mon conjoint & moi avons commandé deux entrées ainsi que deux plats principaux. Nous avons reçu nos potages dans un délai raisonnable, mais quelle mauvaise surprise : ils étaient froids. Très froids. Non pas tièdes, mais comme s'ils sortaient directement du réfrigérateur. Nous avons demandé au serveur s'il s'agissait d'un gaspacho, ce à quoi il a répondu que non. Il est reparti avec nos entrées & est revenu environ 30 minutes plus tard avec deux autres potages, sans pain ni beurre (on nous les avait enlever ) … & toujours froids.
Nous avons mangé ce que nous pouvions, puis attendu nos plats principaux pendant près d'une heure supplémentaire. À un moment, le serveur est même venu nous présenter la facture avant que nous ayons reçu nos plats. Sans excuse, il a alors fait recommander nos plats. Une éternité plus tard, nous avons finalement reçu nos assiettes.
Malheureusement, nous n'avions plus le temps de prendre un dessert ni même de retourner au spa. Nous avons dû quitter rapidement pour ne pas manquer notre engagement, ce qui a complètement brisé notre journée en amoureux.
Nous sommes profondément déçus par ce service médiocre. Aucun geste commercial ne nous a été offert pour compenser l'attente, les erreurs & les désagréments subis pas même du pain ou du beurre avec les potages remplacés.
12 février j'ai contacté le service client pour leur en faire part. Étant très occupé on m'a dit qu'on traitersit ma plainte plus tard. 19 février je les relance on est assez sec avec moi me reconfirmant qu ma plainte serait taiitée plus tard. Aujourd'hui 10 MARS....TOUJOURS AUCUNE NOUVELLE. Aucune considération pour leurs clients.
Il s'agit d'une expérience franchement décevante & en deçà de nos attentes pour un établissement de cette réputation.
I wish I could say something positive about my experience, but unfortunately, there wasn't much to it. We started with the soup of the day, smoked duck breast, & a dessert. The soup arrived after a half hour wait, & it was just okay. Then, the real wait began, almost an hour after the soup. Finally, our main dish arrived, cold & tasteless. I couldn't tell if it had been cooked fresh or not. The meat & vegetables were unappetizing, & I barely finished my meal. I waited for our dessert, but when it finally arrived, the soup seemed like the highlight of the meal. We didn't finish our dessert & decided to call it a day.
We were assigned a seat in from the the fire & it was great! Suddenly a seat freed up by the window & the staff was VERY accommodating to quickly change our spot. This was not necessary but was indeed appreciated. Our Server Yan was very courteous, kind & very professional. We highly recommend the'soup de moment' & the'Plateau Artisan'. The soup was rich & extremely well balanced flavour. The'Plateau' was to die for. Was an amazing discovery! Very well prepared with an all round creative style of culinary art. Well done Chef!
Really mid food to be honest. Super expensive, long wait times for service & for dishes to come out. The food is visually stunning but lacks a lot of flavour & came out cold. Get the raspberry dessert though, that was worth the experience. It's unfortunate that this is your only option to eat at during the winter.
A fantastic experience with a great view over the river. For those whose complain about wait times, welcome to fine dining, It's not McDonald's. You have a properly trained chef & staff making your meal with precision & passion. These things take time & they do it as an art, take the time to talk to whoever you came with & if you get bored of them in that time maybe it's your own fault.
The food was fantastic, we enjoyed the artisanal bread to start & both got the highly recommended duck as our main. Cooked & season perfectly. To finish we had the tart which was a unique & very tasty combination
Totalement surcotté. la soupe dont l'un des ingrédients annoncé semble totalement absent & le sandwich totalement inintéressant tout petit. un plat déplaisant, un verre d'alcool, pourboire.... 51$. Honnêtement ne gâchez pas votre expérience au spa avec ce restaurant . les serveurs sont gentils au moins, quoiqu'un peu maladroits. je n'y retournerai clairement.
