The Sagamité opened its doors in 1999, and people from all over the world have been invited to discover Indigenous culture through gastronomy ever since. This place is named after the meal that has nourished the nation for centuries: the sagamité soup, which consists of corn, squash and beans. The restaurant is located in downtown Wendake.

Ca fait plusieurs fois que nous y allons & on ne se trompe jamais, tres beau menu, personnel accueillant & nourriture excellente. Parfait pour un souper en amoureux ou entre amis.

Quand nous allons a Quebec, La Sagamite est sur notre destination pour diner ou pour un souper romantique dans une tres belle ambiance & un staff tres acceuillant.

Ma note aurait été de 4.8/5, car je n'ai pas aimé la soupe Sagamité. Mais la Potence était délicieuse & les viandes sauvages & poissons étaient exceptionnels. Je n'aurais par contre pas fait un détour pour leurs desserts, ils n'étaient pas très thématique. En contrepartie, pour l'ambiance, le décor & le service, j'aurais pu mettre 6/5!!!

Principalement , j'aimerais que ces commentaires soient constructif & non négatif ,
il s'est produit quelque chose ce soir la , le service a été extremement lent , & on n'a pas expliquer , cee qui a occasionné toute sorte de délais , ma fille était descendu de Blainville Qc, pour souper & devait retourné apres le souper , ce qui causa un retard dans leur retour , la nourriture était excellente malgré tout , Mais quand est venu le temps de quitter le resto , un vrai chiard , quelque chosedevrait etre fait la-dessus , il y avait plein de gens (entre 4 & 6 ) qui fumaient sur le perron de l'entrée on essayait de sortir , des gens voulaient entrée , & les gens qui fumaient aurait du etre plus loin ou ailleur pour ne pas nuire a la porte d'entrée , il y a aussi le stationnement , mais ca c'est connu de longue date

Décor enchanteur qui se distingue par son unicité. La cuisine y est excellente & la cuisson des viandes est tout simplement parfaite. Après y avoir souper, j'y suis retournée dès le lendemain matin pour y déjeuner. Je suis tout simplement conquise par ce restaurant.

food was excellent..I highly recommend.the seafood plate..or the house specialty. .which is flamed meat.very romantic date night..you must impress your date with flamed meat on a stick..our waiter Simon was great ge tired to speak English with us & did a great job..& once again the food was incredible..but one flaw my French onion soup was way too salty
