Stopped by for dinner last Friday evening & the whole place had this warm, romantic glow that made it hard to put my camera down between courses. The duck confit was rich & perfectly cooked, & our server actually offered to grab a shot of us by the window without us even asking. Seating is tight in the old stone dining room, so it feels intimate rather than cramped, which only adds to the charm. Parking nearby took a bit of hunting since it's in Old Quebec, but honestly the food & atmosphere made that a non issue.

Absolutely incredible. This Michelin mention restaurant has an amazing discovery menu - 7 services, that is simply fantastic. & the service, at par with the food.

We were seated with English menus & were told that our server would explain everything to us. When our server came over, however, he immediately asked if we were ready to order our drinks. When we asked for the drinks menu, he simply told us to scan the QR code. This could easily have been explained when we were seated, especially since there was no mention of the QR code on the menu we were given.

We ordered a French 75, which arrived after a long wait & was already flat. After another lengthy wait, the server finally came to take our food order. While we were ordering our appetizers, he informed us that we had to place our main-course order at the same time. We then had to wait yet again before he finally took our complete order.

I ordered the lamb dinner & specifically requested that the lamb be well done. After an extremely long wait, my meal arrived - & the lamb was rare. The server took it back & offered to have it redone, but by that point, we were exhausted from the delays & I cancelled the order.

What was particularly frustrating was that the server repeatedly told me that he'wouldn't charge me for the lamb,' as though he was doing me a favour. The reality is that I shouldn't have been charged for it in the first place. I did not eat the lamb because the restaurant failed to prepare it according to my specific request. A simple, sincere'I'm sorry, we made a mistake' would have gone a long way. Offering a complimentary drink or another small gesture to make up for the inconvenience would have shown that they genuinely cared about the customer experience.

What made this experience even more disappointing was that we were there to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We had mentioned this in our reservation, yet no one even acknowledged it or wished us a happy anniversary.

Overall, this was a huge disappointment. What was supposed to be a special evening turned into hours of waiting, mistakes & frustration. We left feeling that we had wasted both our time & money, & unfortunately, the experience completely overshadowed what should have been a memorable celebration.

Was here for my first anniversary & tried their discovery menu which was totally worth it for its price. I was flabbergasted by the innovation & how well each dish is curated. The service was excellent & they even gave us a surprise dessert since it was a special day for us. Highly recommended for such special days!

We enjoyed the 7 course experience & it was amazing. Our only criticism is that we noted on our reservation that we were celebrating my (big) birthday & at no time during the evening did they acknowledge. We shared a bottle of rose' between 4 ppl & when we were 4 courses in , they should have offered a wine pairing. In my past experience we have been offered a complimentary sip (limoncello, etc) at the end of our experience. This would have been a nice touch.
