Nous y sommes allés pour dîner durant Quebec Table Gourmande. C'est un beau restaurant, avec du personnel vraiment très sympathique. La nourriture était bonne, mais peut-être un peu un goût de brulé sur mon poulet. La soupe en entrée était délicieuse. Juste faire attention, Alphonse ont 2 adresses (Vieux-Québec & Petit Champlain). Nous nous sommes rendus au mauvais restaurant mais heureusement il y avait encore de la place, donc ils ont pris le soin d'annuler notre autre réservation.
Alphonse was an awesome spot! Such great food options to share, & a lovely cocktail menu. Staff was also so kind - highly recommend this place for cocktails &/or dinner!
After many trips to Quebec city this was my first time stopping at Alphonse & it did not disappoint! I enjoyed a fabulous salad with halloumi & melon, topped with a bright & flavorful orange vinaigrette - every dish was clearly chef-inspired. From my seat, I could see the back kitchen & prep station, & it was impressive how meticulous & organized everything was.

Absolutely amazing experience at Alphonse Cuisine & Cocktail! The food was top-notch-delicious, beautifully presented, & full of flavour. Our server, Melissa, was incredibly friendly & attentive, which made the evening even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself had a chic & stylish vibe, perfect for a night out. Highly recommend!
We came to get drinks at Alphonse today. It was clear they were busy, & we waited patiently. Part of our group arrive earlier, & heard the commotion caused by another patron who recently reviewed. They yelled at the staff & were quite rude, whereas the staff responded with grace & humility. Things take time, & it's a beautiful location to enjoy while waiting between busy service. Everyone has been kind & helpful, despite the clear business. Wonderful drinks & atmosphere. Wonderful staff. We would be back & recommend to all.

Everything on the menu is extremely well prepared & the soup of the day is fantastic! We highly recommend Alphonse Cuisine & Cocktails - It's one of the best restaurants in old Quebec city by far!
Alphonse was amazing! The drinks were creative & perfectly made, & the food was absolutely delicious-fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The staff were incredibly friendly & attentive, making us feel right at home. Can't wait to come back!
Hier (2024-12-27), mon amie & moi sommes allés souper au restaurant Alphonse, dans le Vieux-Québec. Dès qu'on est entrés, on a été accueillis par une ambiance cozy, avec un décor moderne mais chaleureux, un parfait mélange entre le rustique & le chic. L'éclairage tamisé créait une atmosphère intime & vraiment agréable, idéale pour un souper tranquille. Côté nourriture, ça a été un vrai délice. Le risotto était tout simplement sublime. La cuisson du riz était parfaite, chaque grain était légèrement croquant à l'extérieur & fondant à l'intérieur. La sauce crémeuse enrobait le tout sans être trop lourde, pis les légumes frais apportaient une belle légèreté. Le tout était équilibré, savoureux, un vrai régal. La joue de boeuf, était la vedette de la soirée. La cuisson était parfaite : la viande était d'une tendreté incroyable, elle se détachait toute seule à la fourchette. Le jus de cuisson, riche & concentré, apportait une profondeur de saveur qui mettait vraiment en valeur la viande. Les légumes de saison qui l'accompagnaient étaient cuits à la perfection, avec une belle texture croquante qui contrastait bien avec la tendreté de la viande. Pis les frites… elles étaient exceptionnelles! (Je salut le staff de la cuisine, tout était parfait !) Le vin, choisi par le maître mixologue, était également un excellent accord avec nos assiettes. Il a su nous guider vers un rouge corsé, avec des tanins bien présents mais bien équilibrés, qui s'harmonisaient super bien avec la richesse de la viande. Ça a vraiment ajouté à l'expérience. (Un gros shutout au blanc avec le risotto en passant !) Mais ce qui a vraiment marqué notre soirée, c'est le maître mixologue. Ce gars-là est un véritable artiste! Chaque cocktail qu'il nous a préparé était une vraie découverte, avec des saveurs audacieuses mais parfaitement équilibrées. C'était pas juste un cocktail, c'était une expérience sensorielle à part entière, un travail minutieux de textures, de goûts & de créativité. Chaque gorgée nous a surpris & émerveillés. En résumé, notre expérience chez Alphonse a été impeccable. La bouffe, le vin, les cocktails, tout était de qualité exceptionnel, avec une attention aux détails qui montre un vrai savoir-faire. Le service était aussi discret mais super attentif, & ça a vraiment contribué à rendre l'expérience encore plus agréable. Je continu ce matin à y penser avec beaucoup d'appétit !
