Incredible food, unbelievable cocktails, & exceptional service. The beef tartare was easily my favorite dish. Pro tip: reserve early this place fills up fast!

Très bon cocktail (mention spécial pour le Margherita spicy) & bonne assiette de frites parmesan.
Un serveur sur deux pas disposé à travailler (un des rares restaurants bar où je ne vois pas le sourire canadien au service du client, vous dérangez) la serveuse plutôt agréable mais tous semblaient à deux à l'heure , bref je suis contente de ne pas être restée dîner vu les commentaires (dommage)

Portions parfaites! Saveurs incroyables! Les choix d'ingrédients se marient à merveille.
Nous avons partagé 4 entrées différentes & 4 plats principaux entre nous (4 adultes). Tous des mets délicieux! De bons cocktails & d'excellents vins.
Rose, notre serveuse, est très aimable & ses recommandations furent appréciées de tous.

I ordered the special pea soup that server recommended. It was very ordinary & not thick enough. Then I ordered a shrimp cocktail. While the shrimp were not rotten they were soft & mushy as if they were old. Waitress denied this. I ate them because when I complained she did nothing. Not a place I would recommend.

We had one of the best night, we had hummus & shrimp cocktail. Fish & ship & roster chicken for the meal. Amazing dinner. Thanks to'Anaïs' For the her hospitality & great service.

On our last day in Quebec City, we had to have breakfast before leaving on the train. Well, we happily found Alphonse Cuisine & Cocktails & they were serving breakfast until 2pm! The friendly owner served us & catered to our dietary needs with flair! Loved the vibe eating outdoors on their cute terrace with beautiful potted flowers & herbs..breakfast was delicious, eggs, veal sausage, bacon & their homemade gouda cheese. I will definitely good back next time I am in the beautiful city of Quebec! Highly recommend!!

This was one of our best meals in Quebec! Incredibly flavorful with good ingredients. The patio is also on a scenic courtyard with great views! The cocktails (& mocktails) were delicious

Our tour guide recommended Alphonse (locations both in upper & lower old town, we were at the one in upper on the corner of Rue des Jardins & Rue Sainte-Anne). We went for dinner & was likely the BEST evening meal we had while in Quebec. We sat outside & watched the world go by while listening to the accordian player by the Clarendon Hotel - it doesn't get any more Quebecois than that! The staff were attentive (although our waitress was sent on an ice run which delayed our check), & the food/cocktails were AMAZING! We had the salmon, scallops, roasted chicken, & the chef's evening special - walleye. They were all fabulous! Would DEFINITELY make sure we stop next time we're in Quebec!

This seems like the local popular spot for cocktails in downtown Quebec City. We stopped by for an after-dinner drink, as this was recommended to us by the wait staff at another local restaurant. The interior of the restaurant was bustling with fun art & decor, but we sat outside & had a different experience. The vibe looked fun indoors so we will have to try that next time. The outside patio was great for people watching. 4 stars for the outdoor experience but I would rate it 5 stars if we sat inside.

Great atmosphere/ambiance in the heart of all that's best about Quebec City. Walking distance from shopping district. Exceptional cocktails, fantastic food. Superb service in a beautifully decorated space!
