Les cocktails & les plats étaient excellents ! J'y suis allée dans le cadre du Québec Tables Gourmandes & j'ai eu un véritable coup de coeur pour le houmous aux artichauts. Le service était irréprochable : notre serveuse était très serviable & gentille. J'ai adoré mon expérience.
Ça été nôtre première fois, situé dans un coin de rue, une très belle architecture, & emplacement historique, très éclairé, moderne, chic & de belle ambiance!
Sachez que notre repas Planche Dégustation/Tasting Board a été présenté par le propriétaire - gérant. De plus, Mme Mya très patiente & très serviable, elle a pu nous servir des Upper Cut, du Tequila, du vin. Il est très sûr que nous vous recommandons de faire une arrêt & profitez de la bonne cuisine, des bons cocktails & du service très personnalisé.

Plateau de fromage à partager avec cocktails, plats, desserts, cafés, tout était très bons, ambiance vieille banque très agréable. Certains resto se présentent comme des gastro avec le prix qui va avec mais pas le goût, Alphonse fait l'inverse, je ne m'y attendais pas mais les saveurs sont bien au rendez-vous !
During our visit to Quebec City for the Winter Carnival in February 2026, my fiancée & I stumbled upon a remarkable hidden gem, Alphonse Cuisine & Cocktails. After crossing the expansive Saint Lawrence River by ferry & feeling quite hungry, we sought a new dining experience instead of our usual spot. As we wandered through the charming streets of lower Quebec City, we were drawn to this quaint bistro, distinguished by its pristine glass window & inviting atmosphere, conveniently located near the ferry docks on Rue des Jardins, Quebec. Upon entering, we were warmly welcomed by Marguerite, our server, who introduced us to the elegantly designed space that exuded a modern yet cozy ambiance. With only one other couple present, we settled into comfortable leather chairs, where Marguerite presented us with the menu, offering detailed descriptions of each dish. We opted for the sweet potato soup as an appetizer, which was light & flavorful, followed by an impeccably cooked 8-ounce flank steak served with homemade peppercorn sauce, matchstick fries, & a fresh mixed green salad. For dessert, Marguerite recommended the exquisite black cherry & spice crème brûlée, which exceeded our expectations with its delightful flavours. The entire dining experience, from the attentive service of Marguerite to the meticulous preparation of each dish, was exceptional, showcasing the undeniable talent of the chef. We wholeheartedly recommend Alphonse Cuisine & Cocktails to anyone seeking a memorable culinary experience.
Went to Alphonse Cuisine & Cocktails recently. The onion soup wasn't the best, & the melted brie was just okay. However, the carbonara as a main was delicious & really stood out. The Negroni to wash it down was perfect. Overall, a mixed start but a strong main & excellent cocktail.
Nous avons bien apprécié le service, par contre, nous étions déçus par la carte des cocktails. Il me semble que si cocktail est dans le nom du restaurant, je m'attends à des cocktails plus élaboré que les typiques. La variété du menu était également décevante. Nous avons commandé les raviolis aux champignons. Ceux-ci étaient tièdes & manquaient d'assaisonnements. Les multiples ingrédients dans l'assiette ne semblaient pas s'harmoniser. Le fish & chips est servis avec des frites très secs & une salade avec aucune vinaigrette. Décevant.
The deco & ambience is great & the food was exceptionally delicious. Tried a mezcapital cocktail which was different but a very good seller & tried the Japanese blonde, very refreshing. The only downside of our experience is our drinks arrived way after our food but everything else was pretty good. It was also going to be nice is we had information about the Chef's special of the day.
