Vraiment une belle découverte! J'étais de passage à Québec & je suis tombée par hasard sur ce lieu. La nourriture était excellente, le service était excellent & même l'espresso martini était excellent! Les amateurs savent que c'est 50/50 lorsque tu commandes ça à un resto. Le lieu est super bien situé en plus. Franchement, ça vaut la peine de dépenser dans un resto comme celui-ci (lorsque tu sais que la qualité vaut le prix)!

I hate to rate at only 3 because the food was amazing, server & hostess were very friendly, & they had good music playing at a proper volume.... But the service was very slow. Our drinks & meal arrived promptly but after that we were invisible. It took at least 20 minutes to get a dessert order in, then that took 20 minutes to arrive. It looked like one server was working the entire room. I would offer 5 stars if it were appropriately staffed. 2 more people for the floor.

On nous a apporté notre assiette alors que l' on avait pas encore terminé notre apéro, en plus c' était assez tiède. J' ai choisi l' inspiration du moment le 2 novembre, pas à la hauteur du prix, une sauce aux fruits de mer ( crevettes minuscules & à peu près pas de fruits de mer)sur un lit de riz avec 2 gros morceaux de betterave coupé grossièrement . Décevant à l' oeil.

Le restaurant Alphonse offre un cadre superbe & une carte de cocktails & de plats qui sont prometteurs. Cependant, lors de notre visite, la température à l'intérieur était vraiment froide (17-18) ce qui rendait l'ambiance inconfortable. Le service de cuisine a également été lent : il nous a fallu attendre près de 2 heures pour être servis, & le deuxième cocktail que j'avais commandé n'est jamais arrivé d'autant plus. De plus, attention, ils ne prennent pas American Express, AMEX ce qui est vraiment surprenant pour un restaurant. Un endroit au fort potentiel, mais des améliorations sont nécessaires pour l'expérience client.

Bien cozy, bien situé & excellente bouffe, quoique le prix était quand même élevé. Tout de même, les plats ont été excellent, je ne me plaindrai pas, ils ont accomplit le but d'un restaurant. Les cocktails étaient bien. J'ai adoré le comptoir du commis à l'entrée (car c'est un ancien coffre-fort). Les toilettes sont belles aussi, caché derrière des portes sur lesquelles c'est écrit : "Bureau de propriétaires", etc. Dans un respect du batiment & de son anthologie, c'est inspirant.
