On our last day in Quebec City, we had to have breakfast before leaving on the train. Well, we happily found Alphonse Cuisine & Cocktails & they were serving breakfast until 2pm! The friendly owner served us & catered to our dietary needs with flair! Loved the vibe eating outdoors on their cute terrace with beautiful potted flowers & herbs..breakfast was delicious, eggs, veal sausage, bacon & their homemade gouda cheese. I will definitely good back next time I am in the beautiful city of Quebec! Highly recommend!!
Wonderful dining experience! The food was fresh, flavorful, & beautifully presented. The staff were welcoming, & the atmosphere was cozy. Definitely worth visiting when you're in Quebec City!

This was our best dinner in Quebec. Pan-seared Salmon is a must. It was full of flavours & good portion. The outdoor sitting ambiance is perfect in summer. Service was quick & easy.
This was one of our best meals in Quebec! Incredibly flavorful with good ingredients. The patio is also on a scenic courtyard with great views! The cocktails (& mocktails) were delicious
I had risotto with seared scallops; my companion had spaghetti carbonara. Both were outstanding! The Aperol spritz was perfect. Lovely vibe, & good food.
Our tour guide recommended Alphonse (locations both in upper & lower old town, we were at the one in upper on the corner of Rue des Jardins & Rue Sainte-Anne). We went for dinner & was likely the BEST evening meal we had while in Quebec. We sat outside & watched the world go by while listening to the accordian player by the Clarendon Hotel - it doesn't get any more Quebecois than that! The staff were attentive (although our waitress was sent on an ice run which delayed our check), & the food/cocktails were AMAZING! We had the salmon, scallops, roasted chicken, & the chef's evening special - walleye. They were all fabulous! Would DEFINITELY make sure we stop next time we're in Quebec!

At the beginning, the service was prompt & our server was attentive. It was a nice casual place & I had a delicious Salad Nicoise. Portions were generous. My partner had spaghetti carbonara & said it was good, & the spaghetti was perfectly cooked. Just as I finished my meal I realized I hadn't seen our server in some time. I waited & waited for my plate to be taken away, before I caught the eye of another server who came & removed my plate. We had planned to share a dessert but decided against it. The servers were friendly, we just got one that seemed to wander off mid-job.
