En effet, l'atmosphère & les services étaient bien au-delà de cinq étoiles. Le personnel de l'hôtel était très gentil & accueillant, & essayait toujours de nous aider. L'endroit était très propre & entièrement équipé. Un remerciement spécial au propriétaire ainsi qu'au personnel pour leur gentillesse & leur excellent accueil.

Indeed, the atmosphere & services were truly more than five stars. The hotel staff were very kind & friendly, & they always tried to help us. The hotel was very clean & fully equipped. Special thanks to the owner & the staff for their kindness & excellent hospitality.

The food at Restaurant April was extremely disappointing. I ordered an eggs Benedict that was supposed to come with trout gravlax. What I received was a tiny portion, with bacon instead of the trout gravlax listed on the menu. When we pointed out the issue, they simply brought some trout gravlax on the side, without offering any discount or real gesture on the final bill.

The view from the room should have been beautiful, but unfortunately there was significant condensation on the window, which made it difficult to actually see the ocean. This was especially disappointing given that the ocean view was one of the main reasons for choosing the room.

It's a shame, because the location has a lot of potential, but both the food & the overall experience were very disappointing.

Souper excellent cannelloni à la courge, très goûteux & végétarien. Dessert de brownies sauce Mélilot vraiment bon sans être trop sucré, des goûts subtiles. Les chaises sont inconfortables. Belle vue sur le fleuve. Excellente musique d'ambiance. Service efficace. Prix élevé pour ce repas hors saison. Aucun mets reflétant les produits de la région (poissons & fruits de mer).

Bel acceuil, nous avons eu une belle table ! le service était bien, par contre il manquait un peu d'explication sur les plats. Nous avons passé un bon moment les plats étaient succulents & très bien présentés ! merci à toute l'équipe !

Exceeded all my expectations. Spectacular location. Historic building newly renovated with all new fixtures. Outstanding restaurant on the water's edge, with discreet professional service. Surprisingly good gift shop; most are tacky, but not this one. Will be back for a longer stay!
