Nous avons eu un souper & une soirée parfaite. La nourriture était excellente, le service impeccable & l'ambiance très agréable.
Merci pour tout. On a déjà hâte d'y retourner 🤗
Little cozy restaurant with homemade type food. The 3 course menu with drink included is very convenient.
AMAZING!!! Walked in at 6:00 with no wait for two. Service was excellent as was the menu option. We were very happy to be able to try many local specialties!!
Quintessential Québécois cuisine in a warm & charming atmosphere. Welcoming & attentive staff. Pictured: French onion soup, Grandma's treat meat pie, maple bread pudding
Long my favourite restaurant in Quebec, & I was SO pleased to see all the gluten-free options on their menu!! I hadn't gone in years because I didn't think I could be but I ate SO well... Can't wait to go back!
Very rude waitress. Very disgusting food. The food was awful the meat was hard. The old woman who served us was rude. In the end of course we did not tip. & she started to confront us, blaming us for not tipping her. She did not deserve any tip & was extremely rude, & the restaurant serves very upsetting food, tastes like public school lunch. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME & MONRY HERE!!!!
Food here was suprisingly bland (Poutine & Duck) The salmon filet was great though. Ambiance & service were fantastic however.
We have eaten here 4 times over the last 10 years & have enjoyed ourselves every time. Our last was on Christmas day. Serge at the front counter greated us with a smile &, with a warm welcome, walked us upstairs to our table. Julien was our server & was an excellent mix of attentive & private which allowed us to enjoy a romantic experience. While this is not a Michelin star restaurant it is deserving of as many accolades as can be imagined. You will find an excellent mixture of quebecois staples on the menu, each more tasty than the last. We decided to do the table d'hôte with an app, main, dessert & glass of wine for about $75. We overheard many of our fellow diners ohhing & ahhing over their meals. As you will read in their description this restaurant is in the oldest house in quebec city & there is a warning at the door that some of the floors are uneven & some of the celiengs are low. This oddity adds to the cozy atmosphere at Aux Anciens Canadian.
