Le resto est sans aucun doute le meilleur

Chez Truchon was recommended to us by both the Concierge at the Fairmont La Manoir Richelieu & a local gallery owner - both said it was a MUST! We were not disappointed! Everything was wonderful. The food & wine were excellent, the meal well paced, & the service (Francois/Frank!) was fun & knowledgable! We were there in the shoulder season & it was very quiet & elegant. We would definitely book this restaurant again if we are in Malbaie, & would recommend it to anyone who enjoys finer dining & French influenced food!

J'habite La Malbaie & je trouve que la cuisine, le service & l'emplacement sont incomparablement excellents. De plus, le niveau de qualité ne baisse pas malgré les années qui passent !

Je suis allé au restaurant, pour la 3e fois & j'irai encore plusieurs autres fois.
Le repas est toujours excellent. L'ambiance est parfaite & le service est hors pair.
En visite à La Malbaie, c'est un incontournable.

My family & I enjoyed our time & had great meal in this must visit destination in Malbaie. Set in a lovely centenary Victorian house, the atmosphere was cozy, elegant without being too serious. Our kids enjoyed & Renée was great.

Enjoyed all dishes & the great presentation. Best ever in town 5-minute driving from Fairmont le Manoir Richelieu, La Malbaie, Quebec QC, Canada. It was also a hotel with interesting history (shown in the menu book):'... Since 2011, Bristro Auberge Chez Truchon has occupied a magnificent historic house & chef Dominique Truchon has won a great reputation (with the Renaud-Cyr Chef Artisan prize in 2003). In 2018, the table at Chez Truchon was praised for his craft by guests of the G7 (Chef's Spouses & Husband & he United Kingdom's delegation)'.
