Pour une première fois à cette adresse. Nous avons été très satisfait. Le repas du soir était simplement parfait, la nourriture excellente & le service impeccable. Les déjeuners sont aussi très bon & les assiettes bien garnies.

La chambre était propre & le lit confortable

Nous y retournerons à notre prochaine visite à La Malbaie

Had a Sunday family brunch there. The potatoes were too fried & some of them were moldy & tasted bad. We told the waitress about it, hoping it would help them pay attention to the problem, but she gave a lot of attitude & said that it's nothing & that their kitchen staff didn't have time to cut the bad parts off. Then the manager came, also with a lot of attitude, told us coldly that they were serving the same thing for many years but nobody ever complained before. Well, either we were unlucky or other guest didn't bother to point it out. If I were them, I'd say "sorry: & "thank you for letting us know & we'll make sure it won't happen again."

We had a fabulous dinner here. Service was impeccable. My fletan was cooked perfectly. & my boyfriend thinks his lamb was one of the best he has ever tasted. Perfectly cooked & a beautiful sauce. Also - the homemade ice cream was - wow! We look forward to visiting Chez Truchon again on our next trip to the Charlevoix area.
