Stopped by Wendake last weekend while road tripping through Quebec & honestly wasn't expecting the tasting menu to blow us away like it did, the bison dish especially was something else. The dining room has this warm, woodsy feel that fits the whole Huron-Wendat setting perfectly, & our server took the time to explain the ingredients & traditions behind each course. We came in around 7pm on a Saturday & it wasn't too packed, so we got a nice quiet table near the window. Definitely worth the drive from Quebec City if you want a meal that actually tells a story.

Reservation is absolutely necessary.
I go multiple times without reservations & even without anyone in the restaurant they told they are full.
Normal food.
Price is average high.
Nothing special.

We just had our lunch here before our tour start, however there's so much flies flying around & it's very annoying, we try to keep flies out of our food, this is not acceptable, this place should be a high end restaurant, how can you accept so much flies flying around ?? Also our server yonge lady Lea she show no happy face at all ( not even 1 single smile) she looks grumpy (maybe she having a bad day) but what we did do wrong to deserve this ?? just because we don't speak French & also Asian ?? Anyhow I still tips her 18%. Will not recommand this place to my friend.

Enjoyed a simple meal here. The duck was prepared very well, but some of the vegetables did not pair well with it (in my opinion).
