I rated Legende 5 star but it was better than that. Everything was shear perfection, the food, the ambiance, the service & the presentation. Julian, our server, had recently joined the staff but described the entrees like a veteran. Plus his wine pairings were spot on. We ordered Ala carte entrees. The food was unique using all locally sourced ingredients & delicious. This was one of the best dining experiences I've ever had!
We ordered the tasting menu with wine pairings. The clams were so tough that they could not be chewed. The beef was tough, it could not be chewed. The other courses were good, not great, except for the tomatoes with goat cheese. They were great.
The waiters either did not notice the spit out food, or chose to ignore it. My husband mentioned it to them. The main waiter came over & asked if we wanted another piece of steak. We said no. That was it, no apology, or any other acknowledgement.
The sommelier was attentive & knowledgeable & the wines were good.
Too bad, because the restaurant has a very nice ambience. It has the potential to live up to its hype.
Awesome meal! Wonderful wine & non alcoholic pairings with each course! An outstanding example of world class fine dining! I will expect to see a Michelin Star in the next 24-36 months at this establishment!

We had an amazing 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing, each course had a different Canadian flower theme. The service was attentive & timely & the ambience in the restaurant fantastic. We would definitely come back here again.
My wife & I attended this past Saturday in celebration of our anniversary. The atmosphere was great. A fine dining experience without the "stuffiness" of a traditional establishment.
The staff was extremely welcoming & attentive. We tried the food & wine pairing. Each dish & wine was explained in great detail & with great enthusiasm.
Everything was delicious & paired perfectly.
This was one of the best dining experiences we have had & I would highly recommend.
Thank you to everyone at Legende for making our anniversary a special one.

Excellent restaurant, I did the tasting menu & wine pairing. The presentation was stunning but more importantly the food tasted incredible. The wines complemented each dish & the staff were very knowledgeable & friendly. If you're on the fence about going it is well worth making a reservation.
Such a romantic experience. My husband & I ordered the tasting menu with the Légende wine pairing & it was the best dining experience of my life. Zachary, the man who served us, was passionate about the story the food was telling us & was super kind & helpful. The wine pairings were wonderful & truly enhanced each dish. Highly recommend. I was so entranced by the process that I didn’t get any photos of the food, but every plate was beyond beautiful.
Unfortunately a little bit of a disappointment. We got seats at the bar because we were eager to socialize with the staff & hear about our food, but the gentleman serving the rest of the bar mostly ignored us because we did not speak French. We were seated in the back corner of the bar by the service station & it took almost a half an hour to even get a cocktail. The feeling that we were being ignored due to our lack of French prevailed throughout the meal, & I can't say I would recommend coming here if you are not French speaking. We got the tasting menu & the food was ok but didn't blow us away. We were hoping to try unique flavors with boreal ingredients, but instead they used boreal ingredients to mimic the taste of unavailable ingredients, for example, tomatoes were used in tiramisu. The Ceviche was good, but we were a little unclear on how the fish was cured since we were told there is no citrus grown in Quebec. We asked the servers but were not able to get a clear answer. The pasta was boring. The best thing was the wine pairing, the sommelier was fantastic, pairings were incredibly unique & well thought out.
The food & service were impeccable! We had the tasting menu & 1 of us had the wine pairings. Was cheaper than several of the more high end restaurants but the food was better. It was simply was exquisite! Would go back to this restaurant in a heartbeat & will recommend to all of our friends travelling to Quebec City!
