I was thoroughly disappointed with my experience at Louis Hébert. The quality of the food fell significantly short of expectations. The filet mignon was particularly unsatisfactory, with an unpleasantly rubbery texture that made it nearly inedible. I also tried the rainbow trout, which came highly recommended by the waiter, but it was equally disappointing. It lacked the distinct taste & texture of fresh fish, making it the most underwhelming rainbow trout I have ever encountered. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this restaurant based on my experience.

Food was ok. The service was ok until the time for the bill came, I tipped 20 dollars, but apparently there is an unwritten rule where the minimum tip is 10%. Just so everyone knows, tip is tip, it's something that you freely give. They should include 10% on everything then this restaurant could maybe pay the waiters. The lady that served us was nice but the discussion about the tip left a bitter taste in my mouth.

Incroyable! Les plats de ce bistro étaient délicieux. J'ai dégusté l'arancini au canard & le plat de pintade était sublime. L'atmosphère du restaurant ajoute beaucoup à l'expérience du bistro ainsi que les serveurs très sympathiques. Le rapport qualité prix est excellent, vous ne serez pas déçu de la qualité.

We had the most fantastic team dinner for 20 guests here. The food, service & setting was wonderful. We booked the private room upstairs & had our private bathroom. There was space for us to mingle & have a few pre-dinner drinks. (Note upstairs room is not ADA accessible). I worked with Ianny to build a set menu for our guests & they included the soup, dessert & tea/coffee. The food was so delicious with generous portions. Every dish had multiple textures & layers of flavor. Very authentic French food in a traditional setting. Very reasonably priced for this quality of food & portion size. Ianny & his staff made sure everything was setup perfect. It was a fun & enjoyable evening! Thoroughly recommend this restaurant!

Had a very nice dinner here. The service was great, they let us choose our table. For starters we had lobster rice balls which were very tasty. I had the naked oat risotto, delicious. My wife had Argentine red shrimp spaghetti which was outstanding. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

La nouriture était EXCELLENTE & les prix était très raisonnable. Le restaurant était très charmant. Le service était tellement rapide, c'était du jamais vu pour nous. Notre serveur (Steve je pense) était très professionel & très gentil. Je vous recommande ce restaurant à 100%. On y aller quand on va revenir à Quebec. Merci
