Great food...excellent service. It was the first place we ate at that acknowledged the note I left with our booking that we were celebrating our anniversary. They brought us a complimentary dessert & made a big enough deal out if it to make the dinner feel extra special. We would highly recommend. Great experience.

La nourriture & l'ambiance est fabuleuse. Nous avons passé un magnifique moment dans ce restaurant. L'étoile manquante va au serveur. Il n'était pas réceptif à nos demande & il a mélangé les drinks, les plats ainsi que le vin. Bref, il nous écoutait pas. Pour tous le reste chapeau au Matto.

The staff was very attentive & accommodating. We spoke English & our server took time to explain the dishes on the menu that were in French. The food excellent. The servings were quite large.I would highly recommend.

We had a fabulous dinner, complete with great service, nice atmosphere & killer drinks. We comfortably sat at the bar & our bar tender/waiter helped us choose our dish. Everything was excellent.

Souper en amoureux lors d'un weekend passé à l'hôtel 71. Nous nous sommes dits que ce serait bien de ne pas avoir à sortir pour souper après notre arrivée à l'hôtel. Après quelques recherches sur internet, le restaurant avait l'air très bien. Une fois arrivés, un décor soigné mais pas pompeux avec une cuisine ouverte. Si vous avez une simple tenue de soirée propre & ""casual ", vous n'aurez pas à vous sentir observés. Nous avons pris les calmars frits & le carpaccio de boeuf en entrée. Les calmars étaient biens sans plus & le carpaccio un vrai délice. En repas principal, ma conjointe y est allé pour l'escalope de veau marsala & moi pour le classique osso bucco à la Milanaise. L'escalope était malheureusement trop sucrée. Oui une escalope de veau marsala a un gôut sucré à la base mais là c'était juste trop prononcé & nous étions tous les deux d'accord là-dessus. Sauce trop réduite L'osso bucco quant à lui était carrément divin. Aucun reproche à ce niveau. Gros bémol cependant : aucun légume en accompagnement pour les deux plats alors que c'est ce qui avait été dit par la serveuse. Selon ce que j'en comprends, ce serait vraiment une erreur de description de la serveuse & non un manquement de la cuisine. Dommage car les portions étaient plus qu'intéressantes mais que dire si les plats viennent effectivement sans légumes ?Bonne ambiance & bon service dans l'ensemble si on oublie l'erreur de descritption des plats.
