Thought the welcome from the maitre d was awful, no smile, no welcome, he looked as he did not want to be there. The ambiance in the room was a let down, way too many tables, so you had the waiters backsides in your face whenever they squeezed past. They obviously needed you to eat/ drink quickly as someone tried to take my cocktail away 3 times before I finished it. In terms of the find my seafood pasta was excellent, but my wife's carbonara was way too dry. Overall this was not a place you would sit & take your time to enjoy your meal like you would in Italy. You felt they want you in & out so they can sell the table again.

We had a lovely dinner. My husband ordered the Linguine Pescatore in a tomato sauce. We specifically asked if the sauce was spicy (he is spice intolerant). We were told that the sauce is not spicy. When the food arrived at the table, I tasted the dish first. I detected pepper in the sauce. My husband took one mouthful & said that it was too spicy for him. Our other dining guest ordered the same dish. He tasted it & said it has pepper in it. We spoke with the server & said that the dish was too spicy for him. The server went to the kitchen, came back & said the sauce was not spicy. Here we are-3 people saying that the sauce was spicy & we are getting pushback from the server. We asked if the dish could be remade in the garlic & oil. It was & it was perfect. The rest of the meal was excellent. this would have been 5 stars across the review had we not had this issue with the spice in the tomato sauce. While it was a bit spicy for me, for someone who is spice intolerant, it was 5 alarm hot.
