About us

The Sagamité opened its doors in 1999, and people from all over the world have been invited to discover Indigenous culture through gastronomy ever since. This place is named after the meal that has nourished the nation for centuries: the sagamité soup, which consists of corn, squash and beans. The restaurant is located in downtown Wendake.

Ma note aurait été de 4.8/5, car je n'ai pas aimé la soupe Sagamité. Mais la Potence était délicieuse & les viandes sauvages & poissons étaient exceptionnels. Je n'aurais par contre pas fait un détour pour leurs desserts, ils n'étaient pas très thématique. En contrepartie, pour l'ambiance, le décor & le service, j'aurais pu mettre 6/5!!!

Mon coup de coeur !!!!

Nourriture & Boisson :
- Un pure délice pour les papilles ! La carte propose toute une variété de plat composé de gibier, parfait pour découvrir des viandes que l'on a pas l'habitude d'acheter. Leur concept de potence est très bon & agréable à partager ! Je conseille fortement en dessert la tarte au sucre !
- La carte des vins est très fournie, elle contient de très bonne petites cuvée

Service :
- Un personnel accueillant

Décor & ambiance :
- Magnifique restaurant qui a su mêler à la fois l'ancien & traditionnelle avec le moderne !
- Ambiance détendu & pittoresque.

Il faisait froid dans la salle à manger. Nous avons avisé la serveuse mais sans résultat. Mis à part ce petit désagrément, notre expérience culinaire a été formidable. C'était trésor bon, un délice de l'entrée au dessert.

Délicieux! La place est magnifique & le service est parfait. Le seul.probleme: j'ai trop mangé! ! Mais il m'ont offert de prendre mon dessert pour apportez... par chance car la tarte était trop bonne. J'y suis retourné pour déjeuner!
