About us

The Sagamité opened its doors in 1999, and people from all over the world have been invited to discover Indigenous culture through gastronomy ever since. This place is named after the meal that has nourished the nation for centuries: the sagamité soup, which consists of corn, squash and beans. The restaurant is located in downtown Wendake.

Décor enchanteur qui se distingue par son unicité. La cuisine y est excellente & la cuisson des viandes est tout simplement parfaite. Après y avoir souper, j'y suis retournée dès le lendemain matin pour y déjeuner. Je suis tout simplement conquise par ce restaurant.

Mon coup de coeur !!!!

Nourriture & Boisson :
- Un pure délice pour les papilles ! La carte propose toute une variété de plat composé de gibier, parfait pour découvrir des viandes que l'on a pas l'habitude d'acheter. Leur concept de potence est très bon & agréable à partager ! Je conseille fortement en dessert la tarte au sucre !
- La carte des vins est très fournie, elle contient de très bonne petites cuvée

- Un personnel accueillant

Décor & ambiance :
- Magnifique restaurant qui a su mêler à la fois l'ancien & traditionnelle avec le moderne !
- Ambiance détendu & pittoresque.

Nous avons eu un excellent service & le repas était délicieux. Une expérience culinaire différente de ce que l'on retrouve dans les restaurants habituels. Nous connaissions déjà la viande de bois alors nous n'avons pas été déçu de nos choix. À recommencer pour essayer le déjeuner dont j'ai tant entendu parlé !
