My wife & I had the absolute pleasure of dining at Confit on a slow night, & it was one of the best meals I've ever had. The food was spectacular - such unique flavors & dishes, & the bread with smoked butter was the best I've ever had. What made it even more special was spending the evening with the owners, Alex & Joannie, who made us feel like family & shared so many amazing stories. You can feel their passion for what they do & the dishes they create. We ended up going back the next night just to hang out & get a few small bites. If you're in the Charlevoix area, you would be doing yourself a huge disservice by not visiting Confit.

Where to begin? This was an experience unlike any other. My husband & I wanted to try something unique & special for our 10 year anniversary. Confit did not disappoint. From the moment we arrived we were treated like valued guests. The ambiance was fun & romantic. Every single item within the walls of this restaurant has a story & was selected with appreciation & passion for its maker. From the onions to the chairs to the art on the walls. Alex & Joannie have created an immersive culinary experience into the heart & soul of local farmers & artisans. The level of passion these two have for Confit & its patrons is unrivaled. Of course, the food itself was mind blowing. We had the Spring tasting menu with the wine pairing. Each dish was so carefully crafted & balanced. If I could eat here for all my days, it would still not be enough. Thank you Alex & Joannie for such a memorable experience!

Très belle soirée hier soir pour le 70e anniversaire de ma mère! Tout était parfait du début à la fin!

Nourriture exceptionnelle, service incroyable.

On a pris le menu découverte qui nous a charmé du 1er service jusqu'au dessert. En plus, le serveur nous à fait découvrir plusieurs bons vins tout au cours de la soirée. Je recommande fortement cet endroit pour tout ceux qui veulent vivre une expérience savoureuse & unique tout en découvrant les nombreux producteurs de Charlevoix. Cuisine audacieuse qui propose des plats composés presqu'à 100% d'aliments locaux, & ce même en hiver!

À gouter absolument: l'entrée de poireaux au beurre blanc, le canard fumé & le tartare d'agneau!

La musique était aussi très bonne, bref un coup de coeur sur toute la ligne

We walked in to the restaurant at 20:00. We were only able to leave at 23:20.
Me & a few of my colleagues came here to eat & have a nice time.
We were served drinks, but our first course only arrived a little over an hour after we sat down. Which was only bread & some tasty white butter sauce.
Finally, when the proper food started arriving, that was super tasty. As a heads up though, if you have any picky friends or children, this place is probably not for you as they have very unique dishes. For me, this was great, & my big problem with this place was how terribly long it took to get our food. One of the reasons could be that the only people who work there are the server & the chef.
In my opinion, a plan could've been made to speed up the process, or a warning in advance of how long things were going to take would've been very much appreciated.
In conclusion, the food here was very tasty if you like to try new things but, you need to expect a very big wait. Especially if you have a bigger group.
