Les plats étaient excellents! Le service était impeccable aussi. Je n'ai littéralement jamais manqué d'eau, car mon verre était rempli à tous les 5 minutes. J'ai pris le menu découverte & j'ai aimé qu'ils ont intégré des produits locaux aux saveurs cajuns. Le seul petit détail que j'ai remarqué est qu'il y a, malheureusement, très peu de femme autant au service qu'en cuisine. C'est un petit détail qu'en tant que femme on remarque & qui est, je trouve, dommage. Outre cela, je recommande fortement, car nous avons passé une formidable soirée.
C'était notre première expérience avec la bouffe cajun & c'est un succès absolu, tout est délicieux. Le service est impeccable; tout le monde est courtois, jovial & efficace. Le décors inusité & la musique chaleureuse complémente parfaitement l'expérience. Ils ont pas finit de nous voir à leurs tables.

Puisqu'il s'agissait de notre première visite, nous avons opté pour le menu découverte. Tout était savoureux, bien présenté & bien décrit par notre serveur. La formule, semblable à celles des restos de tapas est vraiment sympathique. Elle nous permet de goûter à une foule de plat d'inspiration cajun, avec un petit cachet québécois.
D'ailleurs, le restaurant favorise l'utilisation d'ingérdients provenant des quatre coin du Québec, ce qui ajoute une petite touche du terroir très intéressante. L'atmosphère est super sympatique & le service impeccable.

It had been highly recommended to us. We were not disappointed!
Since it was our first visit, we opted for the discovery menu. Everything was flavorful, well presented, & well described by our server. The concept, similar to that of tapas restaurants, is really nice. It allows us to taste a multitude of Cajun-inspired dishes with a little Quebec touch.
Moreover, the restaurant favors the use of ingredients from all corners of Quebec, which adds a very interesting local touch. The atmosphere is super nice & the service impeccable.

Among the greatest dining experiences I've had in quite a long time. Having eaten authentic Cajun food, this place is really something special. Shoutout to Tom & all the other members, magnificent service.
In a city with dozens, perhaps hundreds of great restaurants, Courtbouillon deserves every single one of its 5-star reviews. Excellent food prepared by a talented team, taking traditional Cajun dishes to a new level. Canadian ingredients take center stage on every plate. Our waiter recommended an informal tasting menu of small plates, rather than ordering the usual app & entree. We were able to try so many more dishes this way, & every one was a hit. Just a great evening & a memorable experience thanks to the Courtbouillon team. We only took one photo of our empty plates at the end of the meal! Take your time - enjoy the experience!

Tout était parfait. Nous avons pris le menu découverte & tous les plats servis étaient de portions très généreuses & délicieux. C'est la première fois que je mangeais cajun & j'ai été agréablement surprise. Je recommande très fortement ce restaurant & nous y retournerons c'est certain. Notre serveur Philippe était dynamique, efficace & sympathique. Les cocktails sont divins & les prix sont extrêmement raisonnables. Très belle découverte.
I can't say enough good things about Courtbouillon! We visited during a quick trip to Quebec City & it was the perfect first night. The drinks were crafted with so much care & tailored to our tastes (favorites: Cajun margarita & cucumber lime). The food was unbelievable. Period. We chose to have the surprise tasting menu & it was the best decision. They adjusted our dishes to accommodate my husband's preferences on seafood, while still letting me enjoy it all. The charbroiled oysters were SPECTACULAR. My top 5 dishes in order: oysters, fried halibut, buffalo/blue cheese chicken, hush puppies, pork/duck sausage. The staff was very attentive & kind, & explained each dish to us. I will forever recommend this place!
