J'avais vraiment hâte de retourner déjeuner au Galopin après avoir vu les publicités annonçant les rénovations & les améliorations apportées au restaurant. Malheureusement, l'expérience a été plutôt décevante.

Ma conjointe a commandé l'omelette au fromage, qui lui a été servie froide. De mon côté, j'ai choisi le Scotch egg & boudin. Le Scotch egg était intéressant à découvrir & l'oeuf était bon. Par contre, le petit plat dans lequel il est servi gagnerait à être un peu plus grand : avec un oeuf mollet, ce serait agréable de pouvoir le couper directement dans le plat & laisser le jaune couler à l'intérieur plutôt qu'à côté. Le boudin, quant à lui, était malheureusement trop cuit. Le reste de l'assiette était relativement bon.

Le service nous a également laissées sur notre faim. On ne nous a jamais offert d'eau, le cappuccino a pris un bon moment avant d'arriver & personne n'est revenu nous voir pour nous proposer un autre café ou vérifier si nous avions besoin de quoi que ce soit.

J'espérais vraiment redécouvrir Le Galopin après les changements annoncés, mais pour cette visite, l'expérience n'a malheureusement pas été à la hauteur de mes attentes.

Avoir été capable j'aurais mit 6 étoile. Merci à Louis pour le service impeccable & que dire de la nourriture. Steak & eggs pour moi & oeufs bénédictine au canard pou ma conjointe. Un déjeuner dîner de roi. Je vais y retourner sans aucun doute

L'assiette oeuf benedictine excellente mais aurait ete encore beaucoup mieux si les pommes de terre a dejeuner n'étaient pas du congelés. Merci!
