We had a delightful meal on New Years Eve with our two kids (11 & 13). The food, wine & service were all phenomenal. If you're in Quebec & can get a reservation, it is definitely a must do. The rabbit poutine & fois gras are amazing!!

Toujours plaisir & enchantement au Lapin Sauté; que ce soit un soir d'hiver au chaud dans la cuisine avec l'âtre , les poutres & les fenêtres décorées, ou alors un après-midi d'été sur la terrasse en pleine farniente bercée par le feuillage des arbres. Recommandations sans équivoque ! Ingénieur(Ir) Martin Benoît GAGNON, Phys Ing PS Je déclare n'avoir aucun intérêt direct ou indirect avec le Restaurant si ce n'est qu'un intérêt à revivre l'atmosphère des lieux; mets, bâtiment & personnel, qui la créent !;)

Such a charming place for a meal in the Lower Town of Old Quebec! The restaurant is small so reservations are highly recommended, we saw a lot of walk-ins get turned away. The food is delicious & the service is fantastic. Try the cheese fondue with crispy onions, it was so yummy! We also got the lamb chop, pasta, & rabbit saddle. Everything was cooked perfectly & served with a smile!

Absolutely amazing food & fast & friendly service. Make sure to make a reservation. The amount of food is perfect & the cost is reasonable. Be sure to ask for bread & an English menu if you need one. The waitress even remembered which tables were French & which were English speakers each time she went to a different table.

We had a reservation for 6pm but we were done walking around by about 5:30 PM. We went to check in to see if they could see us early & luckily they were able to accommodate us. Highly recommend making reservations as people were being turned away at the door. Restaurant is very small. We had great attentive service & the food was terrific. Highly recommend the maple crème brûlée!

Everything is so good! We ordered soup of the day & the rabbit meat pie (I forgot the name) also the platter with duck leg rabbit leg & smoked duck meat. Portion is good enough for two to three ppl. Remember to make reservation! Would def come back again ❤️
