Service was nice but not a good dining experience. Mussels were cooked from frozen, gritty & over salted, soup was served cold & when mentioned to the server the soup was reheated in the microwave, I could tell because the lobster in the soup was gummy & chewy afterwards. This is pub style dining & not good pub food. I went based on the 4.4 star reviews & it's definitely not worthy of the rating, I've cooked better food at home. Photos of the interior & food don't match the actual experience. Buyer beware...
Stopped to grab a quick bite. Had the charcuterie board & the lobsters roll. Let's just say they did not disappoint. Would highly recommend. Great atmosphere & delicious food & great beer. Would come back in a heartbeat
I had one of the most disappointing lobster rolls ever, but the fries were okay.
I can't rate the food because I only have a mystique cider, which was very good for an evening lite refreshment. I heard they have lobster roll on the menu, so I will be going back to try that dish.
The food was delicious. I ordered the La Papale with the recommended cheeses. My partner ordered the lobster roll. We each had a Sidecar drink. I think my dish was the favorite. Great attention to detail, with the chef taking pride in his work. We polished it all off with minimal effort. The lobster roll was flavorful, with chunky lobster bites, & done in what they called a traditional Quebec style. It was a cozy space with plentiful outdoor seating as well. We dined inside due to weather, & were treated to watching the chef prepare our food just behind the counter. It was a fun show, & really helped demonstrate his love for the craft. Needs improvement: the Sidecar left a lot to be desired. Too sweet & unbalanced for what I expect in a Sidecar. I think next time I'd pass on a cocktail, in favor of wine or beer. Definitely a place worth checking out.
