Belle découverte! Nous avons eu droit à un accueil très chaleureux & un excellent service du début à la fin! J'ai adoré ma première visite. Le riz était tellement tendre & le goût du poisson si frais! Des savoureux & beaux sushis. Ce restaurant est ajouté dans mon top pour des bons sushis. J'ai également goûté aux calmars furai. C'était tellement tendre! La salle à manger & les toilettes sont très belles! Vraiment un beau petit restaurant! J'ai déjà hâte d'y retourner pour goûter plein d'autres plats sur le menu & de faire découvrir cette petite merveille à mon entourage!

Excellent sushis. Poissons frais & succulents. Belle présentation. Takoyaki qui rivalisent avec ceux d'Osaka. Le nouveau design est vraiment réussi. L'ambiance japonaise est bien présente, jusqu'à la musique.

Nous avons pu y dîner avec ma conjointe.
Sentiment partagé.

Le cadre, l'ambiance, le lieu li n y'a rien à redire c'est beau on se sent à l'aise.
Les sushis/rolls etc sur cette partie là c'est correct c'est maitrisé c'est propre.
Par contre sashimi un mauvais goût un peu rance & on sentait vraiment pas la fraicheur.& Nigiri, là le poisson sec, presque brûlé par le froid.

En revanche la patronne a eu la politesse de venir s'excuser (& appliquer un rabais), & on sent qu'elle a à coeur son établissement & de bien faire les choses.

1ère serveuse adorable, 2nd beaucoup moins car quand on a fait part de cela à la personne qui a débarrassé'vous n'avez rien dit quand je suis passé'. Étant donné qu'on gardé les shashimi pour la fin c'est sûr qu'à ce moment là nous n'avions aucune raison de nous plaindre.

Donc mitigé on y retournera sûrement pour réessayer.

L'assiette pour 2 était absoluement MIAM ( la sélection de poissons 10/10) 🤩 & que dire de la propriétaire & de l'accueil du staff, nous avons passé une super soirée!

Les sushis sont faits que de riz & le poisson INEXISTANT. Pas normal de commander des oeufs de saumon (IKURA) & de payer 13$ pour 2 morceaux qui font même pas 2 bouchées. Même chose pour l'oursin mais un peu plus cher 15$. L'entrée de tofu frit est à peine la moitié des portions que l'on pouvait avoir avant. Pour 9$ c'est carrément du vol en plein jour ! D'autant plus que dans les épiceries asiatiques une barquette de 1 kg coûte à peine 6$.

De plus, lorsque le serveur m'a répondu :'C'est comme autre chose, tout rapetisse', cela a ajouté à ma frustration. Un petit mot pour l'ancienne propriétaire; Martha, I miss you !

Attention aux heures de service. Nous avons réservé une table pour deux heures, mais à notre arrivée on nous a informés que la cuisine fermait dans les 15 minutes. Nous avons donc été obligés de commander tout d'un seul coup, & même de payer avant d'être servis.

La qualité du poisson est excellente, rien à dire là-dessus. Cependant, il s'agit essentiellement de poisson cru sans réelle préparation ni découverte de saveurs. L'expérience culinaire reste donc assez limitée.

L'ambiance est aussi un peu étrange pour un restaurant japonais, avec de la musique rock.

Au final, très peu de bouchées, une expérience assez rapide, & une facture de 136 $. Nous sommes restés un peu sur notre faim.
