We had good breakfast here. Menu is meat heavy, it's delicious & service is good.

Great place for breakfast, the ambience was okay. Our waiter, Philippe was very professional & took the time to answer questions we had. Food was very good. We had the Benedictine crab cake & suédois which cooked to perfection & very tasty. Along with it, we had a small blueberry-cranberry-cherry smoothie which was delicious. Everything was very good to start the day perfectly!

This restaurant is beautifully renovated, & located within the hotel. Although my family did not stay at this hotel, the restaurant is open to the public. We came here for breakfast which is offered until 11:00am (on Monday).

Portions are good, & coffee is included in your breakfast. The potatoes were crisp on the outside while soft & fluffy on the inside. I ordered a meat casserole (skillet) & it came with a good portion of meat & cheese.

One small complaint is that there appeared to be only one server for the whole restaurant: she was our hostess, the server, & the busser. Le Galopin was understaffed & so the service was a bit on the slow side.

I would definitely recommend Le Galopin for its high quality breakfast at a reasonable price.

Very busy (which means it's a good place for breakfast) with lots of staff available & didn't have to wait for anything. Seated very quickly & coffee was offered immediately - excellent coffee with milk, cream, sugar, sweetener & raw sugar all on the table. Menu was available in French & English & all the servers spoke both languages. Food came quick - I had "The Traditionel" with poached soft eggs (which were perfectly temped), the tastiest bacon ever - cooked to preference & the crispiest & very well seasoned hashbrowns, & there lightly buttered toast paired perfectly with the jams (there was blueberry!), peanut butters, nutella, etc. Food was very well seasoned & required nothing extra. There was fresh, seasonal fruit on the plate & a juice/smoothie shot which was very pleasant & well rounded. Coffee came around several times during the meal & was always hot & freshly made. Staff were polite, restaurant was clean, & price was commensurate with the food & service. Lots of parking was available & the restaurant was very easy to reach.
