My family & I were here for lunch, & we were very pleased to see they had a doggy menu for our pup since we had him with us on all of our travels. Our experience was good & the food was good, but I'm writing this to alert other dog parents about the dog menu (seems silly I know). We ordered chicken for our dog, under the impression that it would be plain chicken & dog safe. When they chicken came out, it appeared to have some type of red or orange seasoning on it, but again, we trusted the restaurant would serve dog safe food off of a dog menu, so we didn't say anything. For the next week after having the chicken, our dog was extremely sick; he is ok now. We believe the chicken had some type of seasoning on it that was not safe for him. Writing this review not to knock the restaurant because we did have a good experience overall, but rather to let other dog owners & the restaurant owners know about this. Powdered seasonings are especially bad for dogs because they are so concentrated. Please just be careful!
The best onion soup I've ever had. A ridiculous amount of cheese & our dog was welcomed.
This is in the artist alley close to the tourist information center. Very quiet & lovely relaxing location. Super wait staff. Outdoor patio with heaters. Good place to relax after touring & walking all day.
Great little cafe/bistro. We had the white sangria , kir Royale & a lovely brie with pear, tomatoe & almond dish as an appetizer. Service is very friendly.
Truly dog friendly; food was average but as a,dog owner, would not complain about such a nice place with good service in old Quebec that welcomes dogs big & small
Honestly, we came here because it was dog friendly & has a dog meal (chicken or beef) on the menu & that was our sole deciding factor. However, dog or not, I'd come here again for sure - the food was amazing (human & dog!) & the staff are very nice, the environment is pleasant. I loved it. Merci!
The location is quaint & service was very pleasant. I'd recommend the Elk Stew but not the Quebec tortiere as it is not authentic. Otherwise a very nice experience for patio dining in the evening. Away from the masses of people walking along the other streets
