This was an experience of a lifetime. From beginning to end, we were left in a state of pleasant surprise & satisfaction with the flavours of both the food & beverage pairings. Staff were wonderful in explaining the food & how it ties to the history of Quebec & the area, & the experts in the kitchen & bar developed the most incredible flavours. Now I know what a forest tastes like, & I am far from disappointed. Thank you to all the staff that made it a wonderful experience

A brilliant culinary experience. The creativity of the chefs is beautifully represented by their unique expressions of authentic Québec produce. The waiters & the sommelier are incredibly knowledgeable, articulating, in profound detail, the complexities & stories behind each ingredient. The design & concept of Tanière offers an unforgettable experience in the heart of the old town. I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Québec. Tanière also accommodates dietary preferences, with a wonderful pairing of non-alcoholic cocktails & concoctions to accompany the 20 course meal. We had a vegan dining with us & the front & back of house went above & beyond to provide complimentary plant-based meals demonstrating the excellence of this one of a kind extravaganza. Special thanks to Ishmael, Jonathan & the team at Tanière for a wonderful end to our holiday.

Amazing! wine pairing & especially non alcohol pairing well worth it. One of the best in the nation - will be back for sure. get in before its a 3month waiting list. World class culinary art that tastes like perfection. Non alcoholic pairing is of unparalleled quality. can't say enough about this extraordinary experience.

On par with any Michelin-starred restaurant. Food & wine pairings were perfect. However, the ‘experience' is the best fine dining I've ever enjoyed. If you're looking for a unique gastronomic adventure, this is an absolute must - you will not be disappointed!

The complete experience was unique. One of us took the wine & the other the non-alcoholic drinks & the pairing was beyond perfect. The attention of each person that walk in to our table & how they explained every dish was nice & polite.

This is not a meal, this is a full culinary experience!! Staff is incredibly nice & fun, & the environment adds a feeling of « time standing still » that allows you to focus on the amazing tastes offered to you. I strongly recommend taking the optional wine pairing experience as, in most occasion, it does enhance the food tasting. Clearly the most unique restaurant in town!

Définitivement la meilleure expérience culinaire!

Nous avons eu la chance de découvrir des ingrédients frais & disponibles au Quebec, & le tout, toujours, apprêté d'une façon délicieuse. Le service est tout simplement impeccable & très personnalisée.

Je recommande fortement l'option « wine pairing » pour vivre l'expérience complète.

This place deserves more than 5☆s. It exceeded any & all expectations. The experience starts before you even enter the restaurant with its secret codes & hidden entrance. Loved every single dish. Beautifully presented & LOVED the stories & explanations that came with each dish. Our servers were excellent & I loved that they always referred back to the Chefs & Barman to give them the respect they deserved. I went with the non-alcoholic cocktail pairing & I was so glad I did! It was such an experience to taste the different creations of Barman, Simon Faucher. My favorite was the fake Bordeaux. I enjoyed it better than actual Bordeaux! The Chefs & Barman here are real geniuses. Can't say enough great things about my experience here.

Incredible experience from start to finish. My partner & I both agreed this was the best meal we've ever had. Highly recommend pairing with wine. Amazing food aside, the host, waitstaff, sommollier, etc were top-notch.
