This was the coolest experience & best meal we ever ate. We did one nonalcoholic drink & the lower tier wine pairing & both were excellent & highly recommend adding in. Staff were so friendly.

La Tanière created an unforgettable culinary experience. The food & wine pairing was exceptional & was presented by incredibly cordial staff. La Tanière is definitely worth even the longest of detours. They used local ingredients to their fullest in clever & novel ways. I recommend La Tanière for any serious food lover.

One of the top 5 meals I have had. Fantastique! The experience was all first class right from the start when I realized the day of my rez that I had messed up the dates - my rez was booked for 1 week after we were to leave QC. I called & left a message with the restaurant 2 hours before I thought I was to appear at their door - I had a call back in 5 minutes & Rocs (one of the partners) had arranged for our experience to happen! Thank goodness as it was truly exceptional. All of the members of T3's team are enthusiastic & passionate about the food & the experience. The experience is a well orchestrated trip of continuing delights with all courses shining. A couple of details that I noticed & particularly enjoyed: one of the courses is an homage to the history of the building & the lake (St. Pierre I think). The bowl that that dish was served in was custom made to reflect the stones of the building or possibly the stones at the bottom of the lake. That attention to detail was evident throughout the night. The building is tres cool also! The other detail I noted & enjoyed was that the dessert was served in a separate room - that room was again very enjoyable (a whole different vibe in that vault) however what I noticed was that the music changed to reflect the mood. Every single detail was thought of & brought together to make this a near perfect experience.
I had the wine pairings of course & all of the selections were beautiful complements to the dishes. I only wish I had opted for the more expensive choice. If the less expensive choice was this good then "The Collection" as they refer to it would have been heavenly.

I celebrated my 60th birthday at Restaurant Taniere. The meal & the experience were perfect from start to finish. The food was meticulously prepared & beautifully plated. Every bite was delicious. The wine pairings were delicious too. The staff was very professional & knowledgeable about the food & the region. We did not want the evening to end! I highly recommend Restaurant Taniere!!
