I know a completely positive review isn't too helpful but our experience was amazing. The ambiance/rooms/lighting was really well done, the music in the different rooms was chosen well. The staff was knowledgeable, professional, & friendly. The food was stellar & the pairings well-thought-out, especially considering one of us had non-alcoholic pairings with a limited (pescatarian) menu.

If I *had* to nitpick, I'd have liked a little bigger wine with the cheese course (it was the Coteaux du Loire). It wasn't bad - just didn't live up to the other pairings. & it's really a stretch to think of that one thing.

I will recommend Taniere to anyone I know visiting Quebec who is interested in experiencing local food. Thank you again for an exciting experience.

The flavors were out of this world & the wine pairing was fantastic with the tasting menu. The atmosphere was intimate & I enjoyed the experience in such a cool & historic spot. The service was on point & they don't skimp on the portions either. Perfect place for the extra special occasion.

What a fantastic experience. We thoroughly enjoyed the entire meal & the collection wine + cocktail pairing. This restaurant without a doubt deserves at least two Michelin stars. Every server & staff was friendly, warm, & genuine. Thank you for making our Quebec City trip a highlight!

The food & wine pairings were over the top! & the service was incredible. However, we were VERY disappointed with the dessert course. It did not begin to measure up to the rest of the experience...

We are a couple in our 50s who travel extensively & this is the best dining experience we have ever had. The variety & attention to the finest detail was amazing. The wines & cocktails in the "collection" package perfectly complemented the culinary delights from various regions of Quebec. The service was impeccable & unobtrusive. The venue, as the food itself, were a constant discovery. Housed in an old warehouse, the venue is old-world charm & elegance. While expensive, the experience is worth every penny.

We can't wait to return!

If I could give Tanniere 10 stars I would! The ambiance, service, food, wine & overall experience is unmatched. It is very expensive but worth it. Save up & splurge!

Everything was so perfect & so delicious. Like one of those places you want everyone you love to experience. Staff were excellent at describing the food & wine in English for us. They were all so friendly & fun! I almost wish no one knew about this place but it's too good to not write a review.

It was my first time on a gastronomic experience restaurant. It was amazing!

The atmosphere is charming, service is very knowledgeable & on point with our needs, food & wines... excellent!

We had the experience menu & it is about 10 courses of small dishes perfectly presented & paired with wines (if you select the wines menu).

Keep in mind this is a gastronomic experience, you come to enjoy the flavors & value the quality of ingredients. Each time they bring a dish, they explain what it is & the origin of the ingredients. Most of the ingredients are from Quebec or Canada. Wines are from around the world. They tasted amazing!

I appreciate they really made an experience & addressed our special requests, also they personalized our places with a welcome note & at the end provided with a souvenir menu.

I really recommend it if you are looking for a memorable experience :)

We had a wonderful evening during our dining experience. The food was so interesting & the wine pairings were perfect. The service was excellent -- we enjoyed learning from everyone about what we were eating & we especially enjoyed learning about the wines. & the setting was the icing on the cake. We would come back to visit Quebec City again just to come to your restaurant!

Fantastic experience- we did wine pairing & were not disappointed. This is more than just dining, but rather a masterful sculpture or painting or a well directed orchestral performance or opera. If you enjoy fine food & great service then this should not be missed!
