From the moment you walk in, you're greeted by the warm, inviting atmosphere & the aroma of freshly baked goods. Their pastries are nothing short of exceptional-crispy, flaky, & packed with flavor. Paillard combines quality, authenticity, & charm, making it a standout spot in the heart of the city. Whether you're a local or just visiting, Paillard is a place you'll want to return to again & again. Highly recommended for an unforgettable bakery & café experience!
Very expensive for what you are getting. I was really expecting something good from Paillard but my croissant was really dry. The Suisse is really basic. Sadly I will avoid this "bakery" next time I visit Quebec.
We we showed up there was a strange odor in the bakery. The employees were very nonchalant & didn't seem like they wanted to help us. The bathrooms were also bad & the tasted old or stale.
Just okay. Only Boulangerie/bakery in the walking distance area, so popular for a grab & go. Food is just okay. Long waits at times. For a breakfast sandwich, quite expensive. Might as well grab a full breakfast meal from the restaurants on the same street.
If you are in Quebec looking for breakfast this is the spot. The bakery is really good & so is the breakfast sandwich. So many selections & so tempted to try them all.
I stopped by here to get a mille feuille (look it up!!) & walked away with two kinds of the awesome sweet & four croissant! Amazing bakery with so many delights to choose from & right off the D'Youville area. #11 bus goes right by this spot so easy to get in & out. Lots of other tourist attractions in the areas too. Best croissant is their tag line, & it's true! Dip the croissant in coffee & it is even more perfect.
Bakery is ok. It doesn't feel local coffee but franchised & this shop uses nespresso capsules for making coffee. I am not a big fan of Nespresso.
Another bakery hyped up but found mediocre. If you are in the area may try but don't expect something great.
