As a tourist, I wanted to try different coffee shops & Pallaird was the best. We did not waste time elsewhere. The food quality, service & prices can't be beat
Pastry & sandwich were good. Coffee wasn't great. Service & logistics could use improvement. Was very confusing what was on the menu & where to stand to place an order as the pastries, bread & sandwiches are all in separate areas with no centralized menu. Doesn't appear to be a drinks menu anywhere either. Ordered 2 sandwiches & only received 1.
Croissant are ok. Coffee is Nespresso... So not getting my vote here.
It's always a pleasure returning to Paillard. I was excited to visit again during my trip back to Quebec City, & even after four years, it remains an excellent spot for breakfast, sandwiches, & coffee. Highly recommend!
The ham & cheese croissant was excellent, although overpriced. The muffins are okay but the fruit pastries are very good. The coffee was pretty mediocre.
It was a nice large set up. Good if you're looking for a break from the business of the street outside. The food is not top notch (sort of what you'd get from chain coffee shop) but that's not necessarily a deal breaker. Although I will say the ham & cheese croissant was good. I would still return.
