Highly recommend the berries croissant, cheese croissant, & eclairs. Their washroom is an abomination, do not go in there.
The plain croissants were ok, but the "fresh"raspeberries on a pastry my child bought were full of black mold. She recognized this after she took her first bite. When my wife tried to exchange it/make the counter staff aware, they said the pastry underneath was fine & that we should just eat around the berries!!! Luckily they changed their tune after we asked them to consult someone else behind the counter. The place itself desperately needs an update/reno (eg washroom was filthy, which is never a good sign for a restaurant). Overall disappointed- we were last here 14 years ago when they won "best croissant in QC". We had shared several memorable Paillard pastries. Visiting QC again this year we had been excited to return :-(. Unfortunately we can no longer recommend it.
Breakfast combo croissant was delicious! Self serve & pretty quick & friendly. Some outdoor tables available.
Croissant is oily even with just one bite. Brioche is dry & for latte all you can taste is foam. Really over rated!
Heu d'anar si teniu previst fer un bon esmorzar! Tenen varietats d'opció de fleca. , i tot sembla increïble. En vam provar pocs i ens van encantar el seu croissant de xocolata i pastel de nata en fresa, boníssim. Servei excel·lent.
I tried the breakfast croissant & the chocolate croissant. I personally found the pastry too sweet. However, the breakfast croissant was so good! I will recommend people having brunch or light breakfast here. Please be reminded that there's always a long line-up (around 15-20mins wait).
Their almond croissant was a bit too soggy for me. I've also tried a few other pastries & wasn't "blown away". The drip coffee was a bit too weak for my tastes, so I ended up getting an Americano. The line is always long & moves slowly.
Both sandwiches were tasty 😋. Lots of attractive pastries. It's hard to decide! You must try the Croissant!
Recommend going at the beginning of the day as the croissant was a little too aoft around 4pm. It was light & airy but i wish it the taste was more buttery
