Took a large Cappuccino, it was served in a bowl, new experience for sure to drink cappuccino in a bowl. But the main thing is that cappuccino was very basic & nothing special. The place has nice sitting arrangements. Maybe next time I should try other items to find out the taste of the food.
Just enjoy how the pastries look on the shelves. They look amazing. We bought at least 6 different items ,- found the pastry to be low on flavor, not light & fluffy, but tough & difficult to bite & chew. Regret purchase rather than feeling good about indulgance. Bottle water was cold & refreshing.
I went around 7:30am & danish was cold & little soggy. Still tasted good but could have been better. Toasted ham & cheese croissant was the best.
A grand bakery like it's huge inside. Sandwiches baked goods, desserts, coffee & more. I tried the chocolate chip brioche & it was ok. I think I just chose the wrong thing because the options are probably better... just wanted to try something new.
After a nice walk through the streets of Old Quebec, it's time to take a break for a snack or lunch. I highly recommend trying their sandwiches, which are both delicious & flavorful. The staff is welcoming & friendly, & the spacious dining area offers a comfortable place to eat & relax while enjoying a good cup of coffee.
La meilleure endroit sur St-Jean pour des croissants Français, du pain, pâtisserie, & café!
The croissants were super delicious. We ate a lot & bought a few more to go too. It was my second time visiting this place & the food was amazing both times. The only downside was that most servers here don't speak fluent English so communication might be a bit challenging. But definitely a must-go place in Quebec City.
I was here around 8 in the morning & there was no line & plenty of seating available. It got busy quickly though. I had the croissant breakfast sandwich combo & enjoyed it, though I don't think there was anything extra special about the croissant here, perhaps it was not newly made in that morning. Regular coffee was included in the combo, latte was 1.80 extra. I also ordered a pastry with chocolate chips in the middle that I liked more, again it doesn't taste like it recently came out of the oven but it was nonetheless delicious.
